R-TECH Materials provides a comprehensive testing, analysis and consultancy service on all types of engineering materials. R-TECH Materials is the brand for two separate trading companies; R-TECH Services is a UKAS and Nadcap accredited testing and analysis business, R-TECH Consultants specialises in laboratory-based materials investigations along with plant integrity work. Together the businesses provide a comprehensive service for a wide range of materials, applications and industries.

We have a wide range of materials testing, analysis and characterisation facilities at our laboratory in Port Talbot, South Wales. We have an experienced team of engineers, metallurgists, materials scientists and chemists, with a strong combination of academic qualifications and industrial experience.

We have particular specialisms in steel for concrete structures and polymers and composites, for which we have an international reputation. We also regularly work for our international clients in petrochemical, oil and gas, power, marine, automotive, construction and material manufacturing industries.
